Dissolved Caverns

This past week, my retired English student took me out to a tourist spot called the "Dissolved Caverns", just southeast of Changchun.  I got to see some of the northeastern countryside.  There were a lot less cars and more mopeds, small motorcycles and bicycles.  Not as many work animals as I thought there might be, but we almost hit a rather large pig going through one town, it was about as big as a long car door.  The caverns had lots of subterreanian-formed rocks shown by different colored lights.  There was a high, spiraling staircase that I had fun with going down into the cave.  A climbed a watch tower that was on the grounds, but couldn't see much due to the fog.

It was pleasant to enjoy the fresh air outside the city.
